Menindee Lakes, Kinchega National Park & Wetlands Cruise
We take a leisurely drive through the winding ranges then across the flat plains of the outback and visit a quirky place called Sunset Strip for our first stop.
Here we will see the amazing Menindee Lake which is three times the capacity of Sydney Harbour.
We then visit Copi Hollow for morning tea by the water. Next we travel up to the Main Weir where Burke and Wills camped during their 1860 expedition to the Cape.
When the River Lady is operating there is an optional one hour River Cruise available.
Now it is time to head to the Historical Maidens Hotel for a light lunch and well earned cuppa. After lunch we will drive down to the largest wool shed in the region.
Heading home on the back roads of Menindee we will stop at a Historical Cameleers Grave Site before making our way back to Broken Hill.
